Co-Curriculum

At Hockliffe, we aim to provide a variety of clubs and activities at lunchtime and after school, which give children the opportunity to develop their interests and fitness.

Lunchtime Clubs

During the lunch break, children are able to take part in various sports clubs over the year, such as Trigolf and Energize—Be Fit, Be Healthy.

Each day there is also a supervised team game. These include quick sticks, football, tennis or netball.

A variety of other play equipment is available for pupils, such as Lego and skipping ropes.

After School Clubs

Different clubs are run after school each term. They include: sewing; science; art; sports; cookery; Lego and gardening clubs. The school aims to provide at least two clubs per term.

Clubs usually run for four sessions and a charge is made depending on the cost of tuition and resources required to run the club.

Music Lessons

A variety of music lessons, such as clarinet, keyboard and piano are offered at the school by external tutors and are paid for individually. Other instrumental tuition can be provided by contacting the County Music Service
